Around 500 impoverished households in Bhedergonj Upazila in the Shariatpur district received assistance on September 15 and 16, 2017, as Euro Bangla Foundation Bangladesh quickly raised CHF 15,000 in donations during the natural disaster in Bangladesh that occurred in July/August 2017. Fresh water, rice, potatoes, children's biscuits, and some cash money were given to the affected people directly.
